A Ministry Testimony:

“I was on my way home to kill myself, but you talking to me just saved my life.”

While street evangelizing in McKees Rocks, PA, I noticed a middle-aged looking woman who was visibly under the influence. As I approached her and began ministering to her, I could smell the alcohol on her breath.

“Has anyone told you that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life?”

She was instantly captivated by what I was saying. As I continued to minister to her, I noticed tears beginning to well up in her eyes. I asked her if she wanted to know for sure that she was going to Heaven ; she said yes, and so I led her in the prayer.

She thanked me when we finished praying, and then began to cry.

She said,

“I had been sober for so many years, and today, just before you came up to me, I relapsed.

I thought I ruined everything. I thought I couldn’t fix my life, so I was on my way home to kill myself after this.

You talking to me just saved my life.”

This is just how completely and utterly impactful the power of God truly is; her life will never be the same!

If no one had told her about Christ, she would be dead. She would have gone home that night and taken her own life.

But that’s not what happened- Jesus saved her and turned things around! Now, she is alive, and will live a long and joy filled life in Jesus name!
